By taking this course, students will be afforded the opportunity to receive college credit in Microeconomics and/or the advantage of taking more advanced courses in college.
Students who are wishing to receive college credit from taking this class must score a 3 or higher on the AP Microeconomics Exam in May.

How is the AP Microeconomics Exam scored?
Both sections are scored together through the use of computers, specially appointed college professors, and experienced AP Microeconomics teachers. This encompasses a student’s composite score which is then translated to the 1-5 scoring system by statistical and mathematical processes. Students with a score of 3 or higher will be able to submit their scores to prospective colleges to gain college credit in Microeconomics and/or advanced placement in future college courses.
