Although there is no high school class given that is specific to preparing students for the SAT Chemistry Subject Test, it is highly recommended that students master an introductory college-level Chemistry course that provides laboratory hours, such as AP Chemistry or the equivalent. It is also recommended that students perform well at Algebra, as students need to analyze and prepare simple algebraic expressions mentally when presented with word problems. Similarly, students can greatly benefit from excelling at a second-year Algebra class as more advanced mathematical concepts are also presented on this standardized exam, such as the use of logarithms.
The SAT Chemistry Subject Test is used throughout the world so that students, no matter the country, can apply and be accepted to a specific college major at their desired college or university. As a result, the SAT Chemistry Subject Test uses the metric system and not the English system of units that is predominantly used in the United States.

Learning principles that we stand by

Each student has a unique learning style
We understand that everyone learns differently. That's why we tailor our lessons to meet the specific needs of each individual student.

Learn how to think, not what to think
During their academic career, students may fall into the habit of memorizing facts as their primary method of learning. However, this does not allow students to think for themselves. Instead, we constantly challenge our students in a way that requires them to think and formulate their own decisions, leading to intellectual growth.

Nothing great is achieved without commitment
Mastery does not happen overnight. It requires hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to lifelong learning. We help our students maintain their commitment throughout their academic journey.

Grades are the result, not the goal
We focus on something more important than just getting a certain grade on a transcript or report card. Our goal is to provide our students with an interdisciplinary understanding that will help them perform better both in and out of the classroom.
